Robert Moran -  Judge Ronald Buckwalter ruled on a defense motion, granting it in part. The defense asked that the judge tell the jury that Fumo is not charged with violations of the state ethics law. Buckwalter said he will tell the jury that in his final instructions before deliberations.

Robert Moran -  Assistant U.S. Attorney John Pease is asking Fumo about staffers performing personal tasks for Fumo.

Robert Moran -  Pease is showing an e-mail from Fumo to his staff about a family-room TV at his Green Street home in which Fumo demands that someone on his staff "fix this f---ing thing."

Robert Moran -  Pease is asking if it isn't true that he demanded his staff perform personal tasks. Fumo said he asked, not demanded.

Robert Moran -  Pease has moved on to spending state funds for Senate contractors.

Robert Moran -  Pease is asking about Howard Cain's work for Fumo. Cain was a political operative who had a Senate contract, but Fumo insisted he was not paid for any political work he did for Fumo.

Robert Moran -  Pease said Fumo makes that distinction because it is wrong to pay Cain taxpayer funds for political work and Fumo agreed.
