12:01
FringeFamous -  Word up, theatre peeps!
We're gonna try a LIVE FringeFamous Five today.   I know you're all so super-duper excited.   I'll be talking to Mike Fotis and Bobby Gardner; two cast members of the new Brave New Workshop revue, How to Make Love Like a Minnesotan.   If you have a question or two for Mike or Bobby, just submit them during the Q&A.

12:02
FringeFamous -  Let's give the first one to Mike...
12:02
FringeFamous -  It doesn't seem like this economy would be good for anything, let alone live performance. How is attendance so far for this show compared to pre-no-money times?
12:03
mikefotis -  First off, hi. I sure do love me some live blogging. Attendance for this show has been really great so far. One thing about our show is that there is almost no mention whatsoever of the economy. Also, people just respond to themes like romance and relationships.

12:04
mikefotis -  I think people really do want to escape and this show's content has provided that for them.
12:04
FringeFamous -  Makes sense.
12:04
FringeFamous -  What's the most challenging part of putting a new revue together?
12:05
FringeFamous -  This one is for both of you.
12:05
mikefotis -  For me, it's knowing that some very funny stuff will never see the light of day.

12:06
mikefotis -  Is Bobby awake?
12:06
FringeFamous -  That's the best question of the day.

[Comment From Bobby Gardner]
I agree with Mike on that. Mike wrote a very funny sketch about his penis suing him for damages thst we all thought was hilarious.
12:07
FringeFamous -  So...what was the reason it didn't make it?   If you all thought it was funny...?
12:08
Bobby Gardner -  Alas, the audience didn't share our enthusiasim for it.
12:08
mikefotis -  It's strange because as a show is put together an overall flow is established. Sometimes, material that you thought might kill gets put in front of an audience and...nothing. Not a sound. The sketch we were talking about was out there to say the least and the audience found it jarring, especially in relation to the rest of the show.
12:09
FringeFamous -  Mike, you've been at the BNW for a while now. How does this revue/cast measure up to those you've been a part of in the past?
12:10
Bobby Gardner -  By the way, I look really handsome in that poster.   My, oh my.
