Hi, I am looking for the perfect gift for a very special, recently married couple. They live in the Boston area and love music, concerts and good times in general. I was thinking that I would like to buy them tickets to an upcoming event but I live in New Orleans so I don't really know what hip concerts are on the horizon. I figure if anyone could help me you would be able to. Also, in case they are reading, I would like to add a hearty congrats to Mr and Mrs Donovan.

Courtney Hollands -  Oh look, a stranger is chatting with me! It's true, dear readers. I just got married a few weeks ago.
11:09
Courtney Hollands -  Well, I do know that the Donovans are dying to see the Pixies at the Wang Center on Nov. 28.
11:09
Courtney Hollands -  Ahem, Wang Theatre.

Courtney Hollands -  Just saying -- http://www.citicenter.org/

I was thinking Madonna Karaoke but that is a really good suggestion
11:10
Courtney Hollands -  Well, don't knock Madonna karaoke until you try it.
11:11
Courtney Hollands -  If I sang a Madonna song at karaoke, I'd definitely do "Burnin' Up." Or maybe "Live to Tell."
11:11
Courtney Hollands -  How about you guys?
11:13
Courtney Hollands -  Where is everyone?

Apple picking is fun. Apple cider making is even more fun. Know of any orchards that have a cider press availible for use?
11:15
Courtney Hollands -  Hi 007 -- nice to have you back in the chat :)
11:16
Courtney Hollands -  Barlett's Orchard in Richmond has an old-fashioned press. I don't think you can use it, per se, but you can see cider being made: http://www.bartlettsorchard.com/tourourstore/
11:18
Courtney Hollands -  And the Franklin County Cider Days on Nov. 7 and 8 look right up your alley, too: http://www.ciderday.org/
11:18
Courtney Hollands -  Now I totally want some fresh-pressed cider! Yum.
