4:03	Scott Ferrell - All right, we'll start today's live prep football chat with Jason Pugh.This is Week 9. What games are the big ones this weekend Jason?

4:05	[Comment From Jason Pugh] Airline at Captain Shreve is big in 1-5A. In 1-4A, Haughton and Bossier face off. A Haughton win keeps them in line to make Week 10's game with Parkway a major one. Both 1-3A games are important because North DeSoto and Loyola are set to meet in a Week 10 showdown as well.

4:06	[Comment From shreve nut] How 'bout them Jackets? Is it possible Byrd will only win two games this season?

4:06	[Comment From Jason Pugh] I doubt it Shreve nut. Byrd still has a one-win Pineville team on its schedule.

4:07	[Comment From Jack the jacket] So will Shreve have all of its basketball players by the season opener?

4:08	[Comment From Jason Pugh] Sorry to disappoint you Jack, I think the Gators can win a first-round playoff game. Of course, it's all about the matchups.

4:10	[Comment From Skeptic] I saw where Curtis Carter committed to nebraska. do you think he has been used properly this season?

4:11	[Comment From Jason Pugh] Not at first, but I think Scott Abernathy and his staff realized what they needed to do to get North DeSoto back on track. Since then, the Griffins are 3-1 and are the 1-3A favorites again.

4:11	[Comment From 4thand1] I saw Shreve's game with Southwood. Boy could the Gators run the ball. They struggled stopping much though. What's the deal with their tackling?

Funny you should ask, we just got done talking to Shreve coach Richard Lary and he mentioned the same thing. It could be a long Friday night if the Gators don't wrap up Airline's Reggie Jackson and Albert Robinson. A few missed tackles here and there could be Shreve's undoing.
