Big Ten Quarterfinals- Indiana vs. Wisconsin

12:23
Kevin Loughery -  Good afternoon and welcome to Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong stadium for round one of the 2009 Big Ten Tournament.
12:24
Kevin Loughery -  Today's contest features the fourth-seeded Indiana Hoosiers 9-8-1 (3-3) vs. the fifth seeded Wisconsin Badgers 7-8-2 (3-3).
12:25
Kevin Loughery -  The two teams met in September when IU took down the Badgers 1-0 on a Will Bruin goal.
12:26
Kevin Loughery -  The teams fight for a chance to take on first-seeded Ohio State tomorrow in the semi-final, but more importantly, they meet today with NCAA berths on their minds.
12:27
Kevin Loughery -  While IU can essentially solidify its chances at yet another NCAA bid with a win today, Wisconsin's situation is a bit more dire. A loss today would mean its season is over, so it is safe to say the Badgers' backs are certainly against the wall.
12:29
Kevin Loughery -  Kick-off is scheduled in roughly five minutes as the two teams just took the field. The weather is 50 degrees and sunny skies.
12:34
Kevin Loughery -  A big note heading into today's game for the Hoosiers: Sophomore defender Tommy Meyer will not play due to a one-game suspension for a red card picked up in Friday's win against Penn State. Freshman Matt Wiet gets the start in his place.
12:36
Kevin Loughery -

And we're underway.

12:38
Kevin Loughery -  IU possesses first quickly, and will get a throw in which is saved by Wisconsin's Alex Horwath
12:40
Kevin Loughery -  The Hoosiers, much like the majority of the regular season, dominates possession early with two shots in the opening three minutes.
