Ok we're underway with the girls 4x800 relay. Plant City jumped to a lead on its second leg but Gaither's Sandra Pratt erased that on her third leg to put Gaither into the lead.

A great anchor leg by Plant City's Emily Hoy gives the Raiders the victory over Gaither. Unofficial winning time of 9:59.

Gaither is a great place for a track meet

Who are the favorites to win on the boys and girls sides?
1:36

Chamberlain's boys have a good mix of distance and sprinters but Lakeland and Riverview will probably factor in because of  their depth. Look for Gaither as the girls favorites but as we've already seen today, Plant City will  likely have something to say about that.

Chamberlain's foursome of Charles Toledo, Brad Nelson, Max del Monte and newcomer Adam Elozory takes the boys 4x800 in 8:31.47. Durant is second in 8:37.49, followed by Lakeland and Gaither, both at 8:42. Just .06 separated them.
