Good for them. They had a very good season. Obviously the loss to Winona State put a damper on it, but this gives them a chance to kind of atone for that.
Additionally, it's possible that the Vikings would've been left out of the playoffs and headed to the MW Bowl even if they'd beaten Winona.
That would've almost been more frustrating.

2:05	Yes. In fact, I'm heading to Sioux City early Saturday to cover the USF game (No. 1 USF vs. No. 4 Morningside), then heading from SC to Vermillion for the 11AA title game.

2:05	I'm covering the 11AA title game Saturday, and I believe the 11A title game Friday.

That is something that unfortunately I have not had time to dig into. Sorry. This is probably the single busiest time of year for me.
However, football season slows down next week, and one of my first priorities is to catch up with Todd Tryon and find out how things are going on the Storm front.
As I mentioned last week, coach Kurtiss Riggs is still a long way from committing to a return.
