The biggest event of the rock racing world is about to kick off from Johnson Valley, California. The competitors are lined up and in only a few minutes this epic race will kick off. This is Pirate4x4/Dirtnewz Reporting crew 2 between race mile two and three where the bumps are as big as the San Felipe Zoo Road.

We have photogs in place and we'll be pushing the action to you in a few minutes as the Sat Truck is locked on to the Internet and everything is about to bust loose!

8:02	Jeff Mello is the first truck through RM 2.5 and he's just plain getting it Pirate Style...Mello a 20+ year racing veteran is kicking some ass early

8:03	The 52X by our spot and getting pounded on the big bumps..followed by the 42 Maxxis truck waayyy slower

8:04	Wow!!!! Randy Slawson is HAULING ASS!!!!!

8:04	Kirby Offroad through the bumps pushing hard in the all black rig followed by Brad Lovell here in the 32 car...these guys are only going about 15 miles per hour through this section...but wait for the top dawgs...

8:05	At this point in the race racemile 2.5, they are in single file...first car stopped just up from our crews...
