Hey Kyle,

i would really like your thoughts on the no show of the coach at the big twelve meeting today.

KyleRingo -

It was just a scheduling problem. Coach Hawkins had an appointment that ran long is all. They probably should have put one of the assistants on in his place.

What do you think of the change? Will Hansen be an upgrade?
7:06
KyleRingo -  Good question. I don't think annyone should expect Tyler to come in and set the world on fire. He is still a pretty young quarterback. He only led 32 drives last season and only got points out of five of them (I believe). But he could be an upgrade over time. What they have done, though, is make an already young group even younger on offense.

I didn't see Jon Major on the field Saturday. Is there anything wrong with him or did the other linebackers present better matchups?
7:07
KyleRingo -  There isn't anything wrong that I know of. He was out there last night at the walkthrough and looked just fine. Could be they wanted to stick with their veterans against the Longhorns.Sipili, Smart and Burton all played really well

Why the emphasis that Hansen will play the rest of the year? Wouldn't it help to go with the hot hand or have Hawkins in for different plays?

KyleRingo -

Been there, done that. Plus, I don't think Tyler would agree to give up the redshirt if he's going to be a yo-yo
