6:14	Class AA girls: Villa Maria 17, North Star 6: End of the first quarter. Kaylyn Maruca and McBride have four. Villa's defense is dominating again. Maruca has been especially tough early on. She had a couple of steals that led directly to fastbreak baskets.

6:19	Class AA girls: Sto-Rox 15, Girard 10: End of the first quarter. Sto-Rox has been forcing Girard to take some tought shots. Alyssa Drushel and Raegan Moore each have five points for Girard.

6:21	Class AAAA Girls: McDowell 12, Mount Lebanon 12: End of the first Maddie Hahesy hit a jumper to tie the game just before the buzzer. She has six points. Emily Miller has seven points for Mt. Lebo.

6:26	Class AA girls: Sto-Rox 21, Girard 13: 3:39 to go in the half.

6:27	Villa has never won a state title, so it's not as if they're far ahead of every other team in the state or Class AA every year. They have a very good team this year with an exceptional player leading the way.

6:28	The Villa-North Star winner will play the Greenville-Bishop McCort winner.
