andy what happened to the race that nyra used to have on the last day of the year over 2 miles long that peat moss used to win all the time, i always used to look for that

- I assume you mean the Display Handicap at 2 1/4 miles. Well, getting horses to go long isn't too easy, to say the least, so it was eliminated. We now run only the Gallant Fox, at 1 5/8....which used to be a prep for the Display.

Hi Andy. Who would you take as a potential upsetter in The Discovery:Birdrun or Haynesfield?

Andy Serling
- Birdrun....though I don't particularly like either. The only price I would use, though I expect Gone Astray to win, would be Redding Colliery.

Andy, why doesn't NYRA make one turf course at Belmont and Saratoga instead of twin courses, in order to be able to card larger fields?

Andy Serling
- I would guess money among other reasons.
I guess if we could sink a lot of money, and make one big course, with multiple rail settings it could work.

Andy:what's happened to Edgar Prado? Seems like he's lost a lot of business. Is he on the downward spiral?

Andy Serling
- I feel like I get this question a lot. I don't know, but I did read on DRF today that he has hired a new agent.
