Hey Dustin...Mark will have the full forecast in a few minutes, but there is definitely going to be a decrease in rain possibilities for Thursday. It will be a mix of sun and clouds with only a slight chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Severe weather will also decrease!

5:12	[Comment From Jodie] Hi Mallory, My son was camping with about 300 other Boy Scouts near Whitesburg (around Bulls Gap) last night and they were not able to seek shelter before the early storms. Were these storms predicted? or did they roll in fast and furoius?

5:12	[Comment From Mary Beth] Hey Mallory, Were the funnel clouds confirmed in Erwin and Unicoi County? I have a great picture of what I think was a funnel cloud that was spotted by one of the sherrif's officers. The thing went right past my house and it was very scary.

5:14	Mallory Nicholls - Bo, Funnel clouds can definitely be scary and taking cover is important! I, however, tend to hang outside for too long as well! I can answer you better in the future about meteorology, but being good in science and math is a good start.

5:15	Mallory Nicholls - Mary Beth, the NWS is the only organization who can confirm these situations and it usually takes a day...no doubt there were some pretty scary sights out there and we should have more answers tomorrow!

The power outage last night hit Bristol hard ..We live on the corner of 24th st. and Shelby and it was out for approx.3hrs and then the cable and phone (we are with charter took approx 1/2 hour longer . also being from Toledo Oh. I have seen numerous tornados and it was interestig to watch the clouds swirl like they did yesterday.the only difference was that the clouds didn't have the green hue that they always have with a tornado
