- hmmm....i used to think yes, but as the crisis spreads, i suspect the answer may be no. everyone looks bad so it may be harder to single one person out.

Please comment in depth what would happen if the conservative view of letting all the banks fail and not having any type of bailout would have been policy.

- on additional thought...btw madoff and some of the other financial scandals, the wall st. guys may get away.

- if the banks fail, we'll be back to sept. the market could take a huge dive. we need to find a solution to keep them running...but hopefully with as littl etaxpayer money as possible.
