Letter to Obama on transparency included five goals and actions for GPO to help implement open government. Working with Office of Science and Technology Policy & OMB.

2009 appropriations: 12.7% increase over C.R. funding. Policy initiatives eliminates Congressional printing shortfall, funds GPO FDLP projects (data storage, training/outreach, modernization, cataloging/indexing), critically needed building repairs, FDsys development (1st time Congress has directly funded electronic dissemination – emphasized by H.R. App. Cte.). 2010 request includes funding to continue these projects and prioritized other projects.
