Chris Steuber -  Good evening, everyone... We can begin in a few minutes. Start submitting your questions.

Chris Steuber -  Thank you for stopping by this evening, I appreciate everyone taking the time. I'm here and ready to answer your questions. We can discuss all topics tonight: NFL, MLB, NFL, NHL; whatever...

any early assessments of draft picks? who has been struggling or doing better than expected?
8:03
Chris Steuber -  NYBrownie: It's to early to even say that a player is struggling. OTA's are in session, but it's a learning process for every draft pick. We will know more as the offseason progresses and when training camp begins. Right now, the players are in shirts and shorts; not much to evaluate.

Do you think Vick will be back in the NFL? And, if so, when and with whom?
8:07
Chris Steuber -  Permes: If Michael Vick is to return to the NFL, I don't think it should be this season. But it will most likely happen in 2010. He should get his life in order, before he enters the media frenzy that awaits him. Also, Roger Goodell should sit down with Vick and see where he is mentally and if the time he spent behind bars did him any good. I'm sure Vick will have all the right answers, but the best solution for the Goodell and the NFL is to suspend Vick for the 2009 season and allow him to return in '10.

Do you like the positive comments on Mangini, that his players are making?
8:10
Chris Steuber -  Ram: What else do you expect the players to say in regards to Mangini? I think everyone in Cleveland should give Mangini a chance. He didn't fair well in New York, but allow him to build the program up with his own guys and see what happens.

who do you see the Cavs going after in the offseason?
8:13
Chris Steuber -  NYBrownie: If the Cavs wish to keep LeBron James for the long term, they have to surround him with more talent; he can't do it alone. James needs a Scottie Pippen type of player. Those kinds of guys don't fall from the sky and it will take the Cavs front office to be creative this offseason. It's hard to say what they will do exactly, but they need a wing man who can run the floor and shoot.

Have you read the less than happy interview today with Aaron Kampman from the Packers? He responded with short answer to questions about how he feels about the 3-4!! I know its new for him but do you think that Kampman will leave Green Bay after this his final year??? Its alot to learn but he has always been a team player!!
8:16
Chris Steuber -  John: I'm sure Kampman feels lost right now in Green Bay. You're talking about a Pro Bowl defensive end moving to linebacker. That's a tough transition for anyone, especially a proven veteran who's been successful at a position over the last four years. I'm sure he was just frustrated and will adjust as training camp approaches. I think Kampman's future in Green Bay will be determined by how he adjusts and how the Packers rebound this season.

how is the Texans secondary looking/stepping up with Dunte out?
8:20
Chris Steuber -  Akakingess: Anytime you lose a player like Dunta Robinson; it's hard to replace a player of his caliber. The Texans lack overall depth in their secondary and outside of Jacques Reeves, they have a lot of young guys who have to step up. I was surprised that they didn't address the CB position higher in the draft and only came away with a fourth round reach in New Mexico's Glover Quin.

What do you, and others not tied to the Browns, make of the "voluntary" 10 hour bus trip for the rooks to EM's charity event in Hartford.
8:25
Chris Steuber -  Permes: Voluntary... what's voluntary these days? It was probably proposed to the players as being voluntary, but I'm sure Mangini's tone came across as it being mandatory. If a player wants to make an NFL roster, he has to do anything and everything to impress a franchise, and if that means spending 10 hours in a bus for a charity event - they're going to do it. Honestly, I think it's ridiculous, but there are a lot of things like this - not to this extreme - that happen without us knowing.

[Comment From Anthony from NYC]
Chris how is it that Del Rio can alienate a team yet when push comes to shove he can't rally his guys around him?? Shouldn't the Henderson thing be kept in house instead of to the media?
8:30
Chris Steuber -  Anthony: I don't agree with a coach humiliating a player, but I can see where Del Rio is going with this in regards to John Henderson. Henderson has a label of being a bit lazy and this is Del Rio's way of kicking him in the rear. But, I agree with you, this could have been handled in house.

What happened with the Scout.Com radio show ? Wasn't on yesterday.
8:32
Chris Steuber -  John: The show will be back next week. I tried having the show last week; the day after Memorial Day and the attendance was lackluster. But, I'll bring it back next week and we'll have some fun.
