Pregame notes: Don’t expect to see much, if any, of Magic All-Star forward Rashard Lewis for the final two preseason games. Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy is preparing for life without Lewis, who is suspended for the first 10 games of the regular season.

Van Gundy stated to the media following Wednesday’s practice that Vince Carter is one of the “smartest” players he’s ever coached.
