Notably missing from today's PASS Mason Dixon Meltdown 250 is 14-year old series rookie, Devin Jones.   Jones was looking forward to competing here this weekend with a new motor in the car but unfortunately he has fallen ill and diagnosed with the H1N1 virus, also known as the swine flu, and will be out of the car for a while.   Jones and his team are hoping to be back in competion condition for the PASS event at Greenville Pickens Speedway on October 24th.

In an unexpected twist, Phillip Morris will not  be leading the field to the green flag today,  but when we spoke with him  moments ago,  he was confident that his position will only improve as he feels that the car will perform even better  during the race.
