Mike Haag - It's race day today at Thunderhill Raceway. I'll be on the scene providing live updates today from the Stock Car Spectacular at Thunderhill Raceway in Kyle. Join me for a live chat or just sit back and follow along as I attempt to update you on the races. There will be 12 classes of cars that will compete today at the 3/8-mile track. The action begins at 5 p.m. If you have any questions or want to make a comment, please let me know. I'll return later this afternoon.

5:13	Mike Haag - I just got to Thunderhill Raceway. It's a great day for stock car racing today at the 3/8-mile track near Kyle. The weather isn't too bad today. It's cloudy, 61 degrees and the winds are out of the NE at 13 mph.

5:15	Mike Haag - Qualifying time trails are taking place right now. The opening ceremonies are about to begin.

5:33	Mike Haag - The Mini Stock feature race is up first. This is a 15-lap race. Eric Robbins is on the pole and Jerry Woolf is starting next to him.

5:33	Mike Haag - There are nine cars racing in this event.

5:35	Mike Haag - After four lapsw Michael Espinosa is out first. Tracy Tschoerner and Brandy Ramzinski are challening him for the lead.

5:36	Mike Haag - Tracy Tschoerner just took the lead on Lap 8 and is pulling away from the field.

5:39	Mike Haag - Tracy Tschoerner just took the checkered flag. Brandy Ramzinski took second, followed by Michael Espinosa in third, Jerry Woolf in fourth and Kris Wilson in fourth.

5:40	Mike Haag - Next up is the NasKart go-karts for a 27-lap race.

5:41	Mike Haag - The numbers are too hard to read on the cars so I will not be reporting on this race.

5:54	Mike Haag - Lyndon Kirk won the 27-lap NasKarts race. Rounding out the top five were Richard Gonzales, Mike Steinman, Frank Mena and Chris Terry.

5:56	Mike Haag - Next up is the Thunder Stock for their 30-lap feature race.

5:57	Mike Haag - Dale Harris is starting on the pole tonight. There are 16 cars competing in this race tonigiht.

6:01	Mike Haag - The first caution of the race just occurred. Aaron Leddy and Joey Tschoerner just spun in the third turn.

6:02	Mike Haag - Del Harris continues to lead after having completed three laps. Patrick Burow, Anthony Gordon, Mason Teague and Aaron Brungot round out the top five. The race is about to be restarted.

6:05	Mike Haag - After 10 laps, Del Harris continues to lead. Burow is second, followed by Gordon, Teague and Tschoerner.

6:07	Mike Haag - Eric Robbins just spun out on the front straight going into the first turn. We are under caution for the second time.

6:08	Mike Haag - Robbins is being blacked flagged for rough driving. He spun out Steve Joyce on the pace lap. The two made contact with each other prior to the caution.

6:10	Mike Haag - After 11 laps complete, it's Harris, Jenkins, Gordon, Teague and Tschoerner as your top five cars.

6:11	Mike Haag - The race has restarted. There are 13 cars still left on the track.
