Our Crime Correspondent just knocked on the door of an "anti-bankers"  squat in Liverpool Street - only to be told in a well-spoken voice that they were operating a no journalists policy.

When one of them left soon after, he was pounced on by several police officers  and pleaded with our erstwhile hack to intervene. His response: "Sorry mate, I thought you were operating a no journalists policy..."
