The Obamas are on the way. They have boarded Air Force One and are expected to touch down at Stansted Airport just before 8pm.

Our Crime Correspondent just knocked on the door of an "anti-bankers"  squat in Liverpool Street - only to be told in a well-spoken voice that they were operating a no journalists policy.

When one of them left soon after, he was pounced on by several police officers  and pleaded with our erstwhile hack to intervene. His response: "Sorry mate, I thought you were operating a no journalists policy..."

Emotions are running high: certain leaders have already reportedly thrown what is commonly known as a hissy fit

So someone wanted to celebrate April Fool's Day and disrupt the protests with a bomb hoax. A shadowy pro-globalisation group of disgruntled bankers perhaps?
