A pretty strong starting XI there, with Fergie obviously keen to get the progression from the group stages wrapped up. Is it a concern that both Brown and Evans are starting? Given that Rio and Vidic could be out for Chelsea, it might have been nice to have O'Shea filling one of the defensive roles tonight to free up Brown or Evans.

7:28	On the bench, 'the future England no.1' doesn't get a spot. It's Kuszczak, Evra, O'Shea, Anderson, Gibson (finally!), Rooney and Obertan.

7:28	Rooney took baby Kai and his wife home today so it's odd that he's on the bench. You would think the boss would opt for Berbatov to give Rooney some time with his new family.
