Champions League LIVE

7:06
Tom Adams -  Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of Tuesday night’s Champions League action. With the first half of the group stage complete, qualification for the knockout stages is now a possibility and Manchester United and Chelsea can both reach the last 16 tonight.
7:07
Tom Adams -  Chelsea need only a draw away at crisis-torn Atletico Madrid while a draw for United at home to CSKA Moscow will also suffice if Besiktas do not beat Wolfsburg. However, the most eye-catching tie of the evening is surely the return fixture between giants AC Milan and Real Madrid following a shock 3-2 win for the Rossoneri at the Bernabeu last time out.
7:08
Tom Adams -  As always, we want your contributions throughout the night so get in touch using the comments form below. Send me on any questions, comments, rants, or suggestions for a better name for Wayne Rooney's new offspring. Kai? What is that all about?
7:10
Tom Adams -  Wayne, incidentally, is only on the bench tonight, presumably so he can mull over his naming decision. Full teams will follow from across the continent shortly...

Hey, Kai is better than naming your kid Romeo (come on Becks, really?).
7:11
Tom Adams -  Very true, very true. Lucky Wayne didn't follow the Brooklyn convention or we might have had 'Croxteth Rooney' to contend with.

Hi Tom, what you think about the match between AC Milan and Real madrid? Interesting game, doesn't it?
7:13
Tom Adams -  Absolutely. The last game was a classic - 3-2 in Madrid, goals disallowed for no reason, drama and a late winner from Pato - and I'm hoping for more of the same tonight. We are doing a dedicated live service for the game in Italy so you can also follow that here if you wish.
7:16
Tom Adams -  While I'm on the subject, we will also be casting an attentive eye over Chelsea's game in Madrid here. So if you want to follow how Atleti are no doubt imploding once again, get to it.
7:22
Tom Adams -  TEAM NEWS Marco Boriello starts for Milan after he scored twice against Parma at the weekend, while Kaka returns to San Siro and starts for Real, who leave Raul on the bench. Gonzalo Higuain starts after scoring a brace against Getafe.
