NHL Draft - Day Two

10:02
SENShobo -  So today the arena is nowhere near as full, maybe a few hundred fans but plenty of empty seats. The lack of trades yesterday, the rain this morning, the fact that it's 10AM on a Saturday morning and aside from the top ten names so many are unfamiliar, all could have played a role.
10:07
SENShobo -  And Calgary starts off the day by trading Leopold and a 3rd rounder for Bouwmeester's rights. If it wasn't for the Sutter-Phaneuf connection, and Bouwmeester's upcoming raise, I'd say Ottawa fans might start speculating again about Dion for Heatley.
10:08
SENShobo -  Isles take Kostinen, just keeping the Finns out of the first round, but close enough.
10:10
SENShobo -  and of course I misspell my first name (Koskinen)
10:12
SENShobo -  I have a feeling I'll have a lot less to say about rounds 2-7 than round 1, but if there's any updates from the floor you're wondering about, let me know.
10:13
SENShobo -  Claude Julien has not yet sat down from the fence, nice and relaxed.
10:14
SENShobo -  Longest talks before picking thus far belong to the Senators, who have the 39th and 46th picks.
10:14
SENShobo -  Jakob Silfverberg to Ottawa, name I'll admit I've not heard.
10:16
[Comment From Paul Kukla]
How about the media, what percentage is missing from yesterday?
10:17
SENShobo -  Actually less than 20% from the risers I'd guess, and that can be those who are at the fence, getting coffee, etc. Nobody is set up in front of Erin anymore, if you catch my drift.
10:18
SENShobo -  Still good cheers for anyone from Quebec (Charles-Olivier Roussel from Shawinigan to Nashville).
10:18
SENShobo -  San Jose will now finally make a pick.
10:21
SENShobo -  Twice now Ottawa has been the only team to be reminded to pick, taking Robin Lehner of Frolunda (love the Swedes and that team).
10:27
SENShobo -  Czech Rep. now added to the board, Tampa takes Panik.
10:29
[Comment From mfx]
He just plays in Czech republic, but he`s from Slovakia.
10:30
SENShobo -  Yeah, similar to Erixon from the first round, representing Sweden, but born in the States.
10:31
SENShobo -  And completely committed to Sweden, too, for all international events.
10:33
SENShobo -  Islanders finally trade down, #56 to Columbus for a pair of later picks.
