Do you think Moll has a future in GB ?
1:03
I think Tony Moll will be hard pressed to make the final roster this season. He's entering his fourth NFL season and hasn't been able to establish himself as a starter. He has been a serviceable backup, nothing more. With the influx of younger linemen on the roster, that doesn't bode well for Moll's future, in my opinion.

So if Kampman doesn't transition well to the 3-4 OLB spot this coming season, what will be the Packer's course of action? Will they tag and trade him? What would he be worth to a 4-3 team?
1:05
Kampman will become a free agent after this season, so the Packers can't tag him. If he doesn't fit into the 3-4 defense, the Packers will let him walk.

Do you see Jones or Nelson taking the No. 3 WR spot?
1:08
That should be a hotly contested battle. I know there have been a lot of raves about  Jordy Nelson during the offseason, but I'm going with Jones. When healthy, he has displayed the ability to perform at a high level. I think Jones has more potential. But in this game, it comes down to availability as much as talent.

Hi Mike-- three quick questions 1) have you heard of any interest around the league in Mark Tauscher, 2) has Donald Driver commented publicly about Jennings' contract, and 3) what's your feeling about the chances of Collins holding out? thanks
1:12
1 - I have heard of no team being currently interested in Tauscher. He's in a tough spot. Until he can show that he can make a healthy return, no team will likely want him. And it appears the Packers are moving on.

2 - Driver was not in the locker room when Jennings' contract was announced, if memory serves me correctly. However, I recall Driver saying prior to the announcement that he was rooting for Jennings to get a huge deal. I sensed no hard feelings on the part of Driver, who knew Jennings would soon be making more money than him.

3 - I believe Collins will report on time. He has made his statement to the Packers about wanting a new contract. Now it's time to play ball. Collins would subject himself to fines if he holds out.  Plus, he can't afford to fall behind any more than he already is in terms of learning the 3-4 defense.

thanks for taking my question. some of the details that have been revealed in the Steve McNair coverage have been much more personal and embarrassing than the normal coverage of athletes' personal lives. Do you think the ground rules for what is and is not fair game will change as the result of this story?
1:16
I'm not sure the coverage of McNair's death is out of the ordinary in this day and age. The lives of prominent athletes like McNair, who suffered  a violent death,  are sure to be  scrutinized, especially the details surrounding that death. That's part of the deal with public figures.

Was it the hamstring injury which put Thompson over Matthews? Or was he also just the better player during OTA's and minicamp?
1:18
I wouldn't put too much stock in how the defense lines up in shorts during OTAs and minicamp. Let's wait until the pads go on in August and then see where Thompson and Matthews stand. My guess is Matthews will eventually win the starting outside linebacker job.

How has Harris looked in OTA's? Much was made about him being a poor fit for the new scheme coaches seemed like he was doing well. Any of you guys get much of a look at him? Or have they been playing man with him?
1:20
Al Harris was in his usual tip-top shape. When asked about adjusting to the new defense, he got a little testy about those who would question his ability to make a smooth transition. I think he'll do fine in the new defense. He's coming off a Pro Bowl season. The last thing you should do is underestimate Harris' ability.

What's your opinion on the Packer's back up QB position? Is it really that bleak? Could either of those two guys be here long term? I honestly think Brohm is better, and could start here someday.
1:25
If Rodgers goes down early in the season, I think the Packers would be hard-pressed to have a winning season  with either Flynn or Brohm at QB. It takes time to become an effective QB in this league. I know there are exceptions, but I wouldn't feel confident with either of them starting at this point. I was surprised the Packers took such a big risk last season having two rookies as reserves. I suppose there weren't, and still aren't, many alternatives in terms of effective veteran backups. It's possible both Brohm and Flynn could make a big jump. After all, it took Rodgers some time to get adjusted to the NFL.

With the Pack drafting Quinn Johnson, who do you think is going to get the cut at FB John Kuhn or Korey Hall and why?
1:28
It should be a very close battle at fullback. I give a slight nod to Hall over Kuhn, only because he's the incumbent starter.

[Comment From Matt]
Is it possible the Packers will get to the point this offseason where they will be forced to sign a vet QB as a backup? Or are they willing to roll the dice with Flynn/Brohm regardless of their performance in the preseason?
