B.C. Lions - Edmonton Eskimos

7:32
Andrew Bucholtz -  Welcome to tonight's coverage of the B.C. Lions - Edmonton Eskimos clash.
7:32
Andrew Bucholtz -  It should be a good one. If either team wins, they lock up a playoff spot.

[Comment From Peter]
Any pre-game predictions?
7:33
Andrew Bucholtz -  Good to see you, Peter. I think B.C. takes this one; they've been in good form lately.
7:33
Andrew Bucholtz -  I'll go B.C. 35, Edmonton 31.
7:33
Peter -  Good form as in back-to-back losses?
7:34
Andrew Bucholtz -  Haha, well, close back-to-back losses.
7:35
Andrew Bucholtz -  They played well enough in both games, against good teams, to win.
7:35
Andrew Bucholtz -  Chris Schultz agrees with me: "I get the sense that the B.C. Lions are improving as a football team, while Edmonton is stagnant."
7:35
Andrew Bucholtz -  What's your prediction?
7:36
Peter -  True. And I agree the Lions should win tonight. In fact I don't think it's going to be close. Lions by 13.
7:36
Andrew Bucholtz -  Yeah. That 1-7 record at B.C. Place also helps.
7:36
Andrew Bucholtz -  Edmonton's also 1-1 in their last two games, with a win over Toronto (which really shouldn't count) and a clobbering by Calgary.
7:39
Peter -  Edmonton hasn't impressed me lately. . .
7:39
Andrew Bucholtz -  I'm excited to see Ray and Printers go head-to-head.
7:39
Peter -  I think as Printers gets more confident with the offence he'll have a breakthrough game and tonight seems like the right time.
7:39
Andrew Bucholtz -  Yeah, Edmonton's really been slumping down the stretch. I liked what they were doing early on, but I think the decision to change offensive coordinators mid-year hasn't helped.
7:40
Peter -  In fact I'd go so far as to say the Lions are the favourites to win the West right now.
7:40
Andrew Bucholtz -  They also abandon the run far too much for my liking. Whitlock and McCarty are good RBs, but they don't get enough carries.
