Funny how Lidge chose to use his second best pitch to both Damon and ARod - his fastball. Just like Wohlers did in 96' using his second best pitch to Leyritz - slider.

Yep. I wonder ho much of it had to do with Damon being on third, meaning Lidge was scared of bouncing a slider.

It looks like it, LoHud say he may have a complete hammy tear, which is obviously very serious. The obvious add would be Guzman, so you still have that pinch runner off the bunch. It is a big blow though.
