Jason Sobel's Live Analysis From Round 4 of the Tour Championship

12:56
Kevin Maguire, ESPN.com -  Jason Sobel will be joining us momentarily for final round live analysis from the Tour Championship.

@JasonSobel -  Good afternoon from East Lake Golf Club, where later this afternoon a winner will be crowned in the FedEx Cup and the Tour Championship ... and it may not be the same guy.

Entering the final round, Kenny Perry leads Tiger Woods by a pair of strokes; they will be paired in the day's final tee time at 1:45 p.m. If things ended the way they are right now, Perry would obviously win the tournament, but Woods would win the FedEx Cup  -- whether he likes it or not.

Asked after Round 3 which one he's paying most attention to, Tiger didn't flinch.

"I'd much rather just win the tournament, and the FedExCup will take care of itself," he said. "As of right now, I'm two back and have an opportunity to win the tournament, and that's what I'm going to focus on."

Of course, it could lead to an extremely awkward situation, wherein a forlorn Woods fails to win the tournament, then is forced to stick around and accept the Cup during a trophy ceremony.

I'll be here with the Live Blog until the final putt drops. As always, hit me with your questions and comments on this page or Twitter at @JasonSobel. Should be a fun day. Let's get going ...

@JasonSobel -  There were a few scores of 64 yesterday and plenty others under par, but don't expect a similar situation here in the final round.

Even though heavy rains throughout yesterday afternoon softened up the course, today's pin positions are much more difficult and the element of wind is now very much a factor, as it's gusting out here to what appears to be as much as a two-club wind.

Of the 22 players who have completed at least one hole so far, only two (Lucas Glover and  John Senden) are currently under par for the round.

Don't be surprised to see a score of even-par win it for one of the leaders.

So how's the weather outlook for today? Dry and windy in the afternoon?

@JasonSobel -  One more under-par score: Luke Donald, after shooting a 78 in Round 3, is now 1-under through 11 holes.

If he can post the best round of the day, it would mark the second straight day in which a player went from worst to first, following Geoff Ogilvy, who shot 75 on Friday and 64 yesterday.

@JasonSobel -  Ernie Els suffered through a disappointing round yesterday, following a second-round 66 with a 71, but he's off to a solid start today, going par-birdie thanks to holing a 12-foot right-to-left bender on the par-3 second hole.

He's now at 3-under, in a share of fifth place.

Twitterloverofsports -  @JasonSobel If Tiger doesn’t win today, do you think he’ll file a restraining order against you?

@JasonSobel -  I've posted this stat a few times already this week, but it's worth noting once more ...

In the 10 tournaments I've covered this year in which Tiger played, he's 1-for-10, with the one victory coming at the AT&T National ... when I left prior to the weekend round.

In the six tourneys he's played that I haven't covered, he's 5-for-6.

So yes, my head has been on a swivel waiting for Steve Williams to have me summarily removed from the premises. I've been able to avoid him so far.

@JasonSobel -  Now teeing off ... Kenny Perry and Tiger Woods.

Every player is now on the course.

In the second-to-last pairing, Phil Mickelson and Sean O'Hair each started with a par on the first hole.
