What's up everyone. Just give me a minute to finish wolfing down my burrito and we'll get to it.

Here's the first question from "pastorsteve":

Which Yankee minor leaguers must be added to the 40 man after the '09
season or become a free agent? Is it after six years? I get Direct TV/YES
network on Tuesday. Very fired up.

For the Rule 5 Draft, it's basically 2005 HS draftees and 2006 college draftees. From the 05 crop, there's CJ Henry and Austin Jackson, and from 06 there's Colin Curtis, George Kontos, Mitch Hilligoss, Mark Melancon and Kevin Russo. Henry won't get protected, and Hilligoss probably won't. The rest of the guys will need to be protected, unless they get hurt or something. Also the guys that weren't protected this year (JB Cox, Alan horne, Chris Malec and Kevin Russo) will be eligible again and will need to protected.

As for six year minor league free agents, it's basically 2003 draft guys: Eric Duncan, Tim Battle, Jason Stephens, Mike Gardner and Grant Duff. If Stephens and Gardner have big years, they might warrant being added to the 40 man.

And yes, I remember the day I got DirecTV and YES, it was glorious.

Where'd you get the burrito from? Chipotle?
2:02
Nah, a place two blocks away. They deliver, and it's better than Chipolte.

And a good friday to you RAB. Do you think the Yankees are considering packaging Kennedy now that Hughes is pegged as the 6th man?
2:02
I think they're open to it, but aren't actively shopping him. They would only loose negotiating leverage by doing that.

[Comment From Brooklyn Ed]
when you were playing MLB 09 last night, have you noticed that the bat speed was faster? It completely threw me off my timing.
2:03
Yeah, I noticed that. I still can't hit though. Love that the catchers give signs for pitch AND location. That's phat. /1998
