But Jon knew how to win football games. Is problem was not having the right people to select players. I think the marriage with Bruce Allen after the Super Bowl turned out to be a bad one. One of the failures under Gruden, whether it was him or the GM, was the ability to draft and develop a QB. And after seven seasons, the ownership wanted to make a change. It's painful when you rebuild with young players. It means you lose games. They're going through some of that now. |
