Why didn't the Red Sox rest Dice K when he came back from the WBC? It's obvious that he exerted himself tremendously to a point where it's equivalent to the World Series for Japan. Shouldn't the Sox put him on diabled list or miss a start and bring up a minor leager (Bucholz). Wouldn't you keep Masterson in his role especially if it's only one start or two?
