Victor Li -  Welcome to Soccerlens' Live Coverage of the UEFA Champions League Semifinal between Arsenal and Manchester United!   I'm Victor and I'll be your liveblogger!   We're using CoveritLive for the first time, so please bear with us if the format isn't what you're used to.

Victor Li -  Here are the lineups:

Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Toure, Djourou, Gibbs, Fabregas (c), Song, Nasri, Walcott, Van Persie, Adebayor.
Subs: Fabianski, Diaby, Vela, Bendtner, Silvestre, Denilson, Eboue.

Obviously, Arsenal go with wholesale changes from the side that defeated Portsmouth over the weekend.   The big news is that Van Persie is back and will look to start on the left wing.   Djourou will start at center-back, partnering Toure and relegating former Man Utd. man Silvestre to the bench.   Fabregas will move back to his preferred deep-lying role.   He'll look to start the match playing behind Walcott.

Manchester United: Van der Sar, O'Shea, Ferdinand (c), Vidic, Evra, Anderson, Carrick, Fletcher, Park, Ronaldo, Rooney.
Subs: Kuszczack, Berbatov, Giggs, Rafael, Scholes, Evans, Tevez.

United go with roughly the same team that defeated Arsenal last week.   The big change is that Park will come in and will likely be tasked with stopping Walcott.   Berbatov and Tevez will both start out on the bench as Rooney will be the lone striker.   Ferdinand and Evra, as expected, both received a clean bill of health (so to speak) and will start on defense.

I would have thought that both teams would start out rather cautiously, at least in the first half, which is why I thought Berbatov would start for United.   His ability to hold the ball would be ideal in a situation like that.   Obviously, Sir Alex thinks it will be hectic early on, which is why Park is in there.   He can always bring in Berbatov if he needs to sit on a lead late in the match.

Ahmed Bilal -  Hey Andrei, how about saying something sensible? :)

Victor Li -  0' - It'll be interesting to see if Fabregas plays better now that he's back in his comfort zone.   He's been a nonfactor these last few weeks against Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

Ahmed Bilal -

Victor -  to be honest, I'm not surprised he's gone with a 3-man midfield, it's the only way we kept them on the back-foot last time around.

Victor Li -  Ben, do you mean what time is the match?   2:45 EST

Victor Li -  Ahmed, I think it's a good squad.   I was surprised Park didn't play in the first leg.

Ahmed Bilal -  Probably because we had home advantage.

Victor Li -  Here's a quote from Sir Alex: "Cristiano did a great job against Porto away from home and we hope that'll happen again."   So I guess we can expect him to try another 40-yard rocket then?
