Hey Jerry, thanks so much for the coverage. Are you as disgusted as I am with Herrera vs Gannon and the organization coming after Cohn? Gannon has been very fair with his Raider analysis, and he was a great player for us...it is really embarrassing. Gannon is right - concentrate on the MESS on the field, not the media.

jerrymac -  Can't say I'm surprised. Don't know if disgusted is the right word. Almost mildly amusing because it's so ridiculous.

Regarding Russell, I see us sticking with him all year. If he continues this horrific display, then we bring a vet in to compete for the job next offseason. If he improves, the job stays his with no competition. Does that sound right to you?
12:03
jerrymac -  I don't know if you can stick with him all year if he's THIS bad. I mean, this is off-the-charts, Ryan Leaf bad. He has to improve at some point. Really surprised to see him regress this much and it seems to be getting worse.

Does anyone care about the losing? Front office, coaches and players; does it bother any of them that they have been this bad for so long. From a fan's perspective it appears that it doesn't. We care more than they do.

jerrymac -  Sure it bothers them, but I don't know if anyone knows how to fix it. That's up to the man at the top and everyone must follow his lead.

True or False: The platoon running back works better when the starter is the big bruiser who wears them out so their ankles snap when the change of pace back brings the speed- so despite their salaries, Bush should start and McFadden should be the change of pace back. Yes/No?
12:04
jerrymac -  I didn't think so before, but I'm coming around to that way of thinking. McFadden hasn't had a combined yardage game of more than 86 yards in 18 games except for the one game in KC last year.

Ted Tollner made the point that this is the NFL, you have to make passes with pressure, when footwork is off, how much value do you give that statement?
