Hi! Welcome to a crowded room full of nerds eager to hear what awesomeness Konami has in store for us this year. I'm 1UP executive liveblog monkey, Jeremy Parish, and I'm surrounded by far more humans than were ever intended to fit into this auditorium.

Apparently everyone is here to see Kojima. I spotted him! Riding majestically upon the waves of fan adoration, smiling beatifically at the masses, etc. etc.

It's a little weird that Kojima's big games have already been revealed (MGS Rising and Peace Walker), but there's still that mask thing. And all that speculation that he's working on the new Castlevania. All shall be revealed. (Probably. You know how Japanese corporations are.)

All these guys who have never been to a Konami E3 conference are gonna be so sad when they start talking about their kids licenses. "We think joining Frogger with Winx Club is the next step in true creative synergy!"

Konami has had a great year, financially, mostly because of MGS4. That would explain the influx of MGS games! MGS4 is going Greatest Hits, so be sure to buy it now before the box art gets uglied.
