9:05	Barton Deiters - Welcome to day two of the Troy Brake quadruple homicide trial.

9:06	Barton Deiters - The judge is in the courtroom, the jury has not been brought in yet. McDonagh is asking that the photos from the crime scene and of the bodies not be admitted.

Barton Deiters - Judge Edward Post said the photos will be allowed. They have substantial probative value in showing the mannor and method of death even though they are "somewhat shocking and gruesome." The defense can object to specific photos that may be repetative, but not to all the photos as a group.

Barton Deiters - He went to the 8th Avenue home around 2:30 a.m on Sept. 29 and the fire was still active three hours after the fire was reported. It was still going because the house was still running electricity and firefighters could not go inside the home until Consumer's Energy turned off the power. It was extinguished at 5:30 a.m.

9:16	Barton Deiters - McCarthy was told there were at least three bodies in the house.

9:20	Barton Deiters - McCarty started his investigation with the outside of the home looking for the point of origin for the fire.

9:23	Barton Deiters - Troy Brake is sitting up straight, paying attention to the various introductions of fire damage photos. Calm and without affect.
