5:16	Here's our first update: Class AAAA girls: McDowell 25, Gateway 8: After the first quarter. The McDowell defense is dominating. The Trojans are giving Gateway problems when the Gators are in their half-court offense. Gateway had 10 turnovers.

5:17	Allison Braun leads McDowell with eight points and four steals. She had a steal and layup, which put her over 1,000 career points. The senior guard/forward entered the game with 995 points.

5:21	Class AAAA girls: McDowell 31, Gateway 8: 6:42 to go in the half. McDowell's press continues to baffle the Gators.

5:25	For those who want to listen to the General McLane boys game, it is on the radio on WCTL-FM/106.3 (Waterford), FM/105.9 (downtown Erie), FM/99.1 (North East)

5:26	Class AAA boys: General McLane 22, Moon 15: 1:29 left in the first half.

5:28	AAAA Girls: McDowell 35, Gateway 16: 2:25 to go in the half. Allison Braun and Jenna Krause have eight eight. Destiny Brown of Gateway has nine points. She's a freshman.

5:29	Class AAA boys: General McLane 22, Moon 16: Halftime.

5:33	Yes, good luck to the D-10 wrestlers. We have an update on how D-10 wrestlers have fared today in the Varsiity blog below .

5:35	AAAA Girls: McDowell 43, Gateway 20: Halftime. Allison Braun has 12 points, inlcuding two jumpers just before the break. She also has four rebounds. Jenna Krause has 12 points and four rebounds. Lindsey Oberacker has seven points and five rebounds. Destiny Brown has 11 for Gateway.

5:43	Class AAA boys: General McLane 29, Moon 20: four and a half minutes to go in the third quarter
