Hi Soph-Lad, They seem to have hit it off already. Both of the 2 shortlisted candidates (Irvine being the other) would have worked with Appy, as it was the board's intention to promote him. they appreciate he's ambitious and wanted him to have a greater role. He will still look after the ressies but also be on 'first team' duty on match days. He will no longer deal with the youths

Hope you're well. Cox is likely to be done subject to terms and medical.

As for Menseguez. that one is unlikely, mainly due to the player. He doesn't seem to fancy it.
Mulumbu actually reported back yesterday, even though he isn't technically Albion's player. There's a good chance of if going through. RDM was already aware of him having watched him for Albion last season in a game (think it was Spurs) and received favourable reports back.
