4:12	We're courtside at the Maravich Center for this afternoon's consolation game between UWM and Indiana State. Tipoff is about 12 minutes away.

Starters are in. UWM will go with the same five it started with yesterday ... Franklin, Roberts and Ajami are the three guards with Meier and Eayrs the two forwards. Indiana State will start with Brant Leitnaker and Carl Richard up front while Rashad Reed, Harry Marshall and Jake Kelly in the backcourt.

4:17	UWM is feeling quite positive after last night's game, though definitiely disappointed to not be in the title game. Indiana State was locked in a defensive struggle with LSU last night, and the athleticism of LSU proved to be too much.

4:21	As I noted yesterday, I'll be wedged in here at the scorers table keeping the book, but I'll do my best to keep up with things on the blog. You can also follow live stats on the LSU website and listen to Bill Johnson on WISN (AM 1130).

4:22	No change in the status of UWM's two injured players, and Tone Boyle and Burleigh Porte all both in street clothes. So, UWM dresses 13 for the game.

To recap the format of this NIT event, both UWM and Indiana State will advance to another site for two more games next week. The sites for those games will be determined after all of today's games are done. The NIT will select the remaining hosts by seed, making TCU or Hofstra two llikely destinations - barring upsets that send one of those teams to New York.

4:27	Also as I noted yesterday, I'll try to get to a few questions at every time out, as the situation allows. The lineups are nearly complete and we'll be underway in moments.

4:34	great start for the panthers, who run out to a 12-3 lead. UWM set the tone with a set play on the first possession, getting ricky franklin open for a three. It has basically been all UWM since.

4:36	Now Jake Kelly picks up his second for Indiana State on a drive by Deonte Roberts and I'm guessing he'll have to sit down. ISU's only two hoops have been bailout threes late in the shot clock.

4:37	As we mentioned yesterday, Burleigh Porte went down hard in practice Sunday. No firm word on when he or Tone will start to dress again.
