Well, the word among people I talk to in the local basketball community is that his high school coach, Wes Henning, has a lot of influence over Black right now and that Henning is taking him up to Marquette this weekend (for the second time; he also took him up for their elite camp). There are a lot of factors going against Memphis right now with Black, and the reality is, he's not good enough to wait on or play games with in my opinion. He has a lot of holes in his game, and Memphis is going to have to sign multiple bigs anyway, including a Juco most likely. That may be the direction this is heading. I know that Hippolyte Tsafack and Trevor Lacey are two prospects who will be there this weekend. Tsafack is a big guy from Cameroon, who plays prep ball in Virginia. I think he will be a Tiger. |
