Joey Johnston - Quick synopsis:
* Plant can lock up a district title tonight by beating Chamberlain.
* Newsome-Durant: If Newsome wins, Newsome is district champ and Plant City is runner-up. If Durant wins, there's a three-way tiebreaker on Monday (with Newsome and PC as the other teams).
* Tampa Bay Tech can lock up district title by beating Wharton.
* Wiregrass Ranch and Hudson are playing for the runner-up slot in Class 4A-District 6.
* Armwood can lock up the district by beating East Bay.
* In Class 3A-District 7, Land O'Lakes is playing Mitchell for the runner-up slot. Pasco already has clinched the district title.
* In Class 3A-District 8, Lakewood is playing Spoto for the runner-up slot. Jefferson already has clinched the district title.
* In Class 2A-District 5, Jesuit can claim the runner-up by beating St. Pete Catholic. If Jesuit loses, there's a three-way tiebreaker (with Middleton) for the runner-up spot. Robinson already has won the district.
* In Class 1A-District 6, Berkeley Prep is playing Indian Rocks Christian and there are a number of possibilities for the district title and runner-up spot.
