Is this game broadcast anywhere?
2:16
As of right now, I do not see Team USA showing any live video of the game. They usually do live stats.
2:18
Cody Wheeler who is getting the ball today is a lefthanded pitcher from Coastal Carolina. In the 2009 season, He went 10-1 with a 3.83 ERA. He lost his last start of the season in the NCAA Tourney to North Carolina. He gave up six runs in 2.2 innings in that game. Wheeler is currently 1-0 with an ERA of 3.18 in one start where he went 5.2 innings while giving up two runs. He struggled in that start with his control by walking four batters but did strike out eight.
2:23
Brach Davis from Memphis gets the ball for Team NECBL. He started 12 games last season where he went 2-5 with an ERA of 5.71 in 64.2 innings.

This summer with North Adams, he is 2-1 with a 0.85 ERA in five starts. He has only allowed three earned runs in his 31.1 innings of work. He is holding batter to a .185 BAA.

If Team USA were to play CWS champs LSU in a best-of-4 series, who would win? In other words, what is the caliber of Team USA?

Christian Colon is a monster hitter. Is he a potential first-rounder next year?
2:49
These are the best freshmen and sophomore's in the country. I predict like 8-10 first round picks are on the USA roster. The pitching is so deep. Last year, Mikie Minor was the number 1 and beat the Cuban Olympic team twice in the Honkball tourney in the Netherlands.

And Colon is the best shortstop right now in next year's draft class IMHO. He is an unreal defender too.

We are off here at 2:50pm

Were the foreign teams Team USA played pros or college teams?
2:52
They were sort of junior national teams. The kid that started last night for Guatemala is in the minors.
2:53
The talent of some of the national teams is not good. The better teams are Japan and Cuba of course.

Do you see this game being a close one or a Team USA blowout?
2:54
I see this as a blowout but the Cape Cod Baseball League All-Stars vs them would be a great series.
2:55
Brad Miller of Clemson just made a leaping catch for the second out of the first inning. Really fantastic play by the Tigers shortstop playing at second today.
2:55
Cody Wheeler strikes out Joey Bergman of College of Charleston for the final out of the inning. NECBL goes down in order. No score.
