He lost his last start of the season in the NCAA Tourney to North Carolina. He gave up six runs in 2.2 innings in that game. Wheeler is currently 1-0 with an ERA of 3.18 in one start where he went 5.2 innings while giving up two runs. He struggled in that start with his control by walking four batters but did strike out eight.
