The Herald -  Everett has never beaten Edmonton. The Tips fell 4-1 at Edmonton two years ago when the Oil Kings were an expansion team. Last year the Oil Kings won 3-1 in Everett.

The Herald -  The player who continues to lead the way for Everett is defenseman Radko Gudas. Two more goals last night gave him seven goals and six assists in the first 12 games. He's also an astounding plus-19.
