Player to watch tonight will be Ian Evans, a 6-foot-3, 250-pound monster for the Blue Devils. Evans, who is Maryland-bound next year, could be the best defensive end in the Cape-Atlantic League. He also doubles as a top-notch tightend...
Vineland's new right-side of the offensive line will have its work cut out for them tonight.
So, will defensive end Marlin Milbourne, who will draw coverage duty on Evans in the passing game.

Big news for Vineland this week: senior fullback/defensive end Darrel Chestnut has rejoined the team after a one-week absence.

Tom McGurk - Vineland coach Ed Belfi confirmed Chestnut was suspended for violating a team rule last week.

Tom McGurk - Belfi also said Vineland will load the box in an effort to slow down Hammonton's vaunted running attack...The Fighting Clan may put as many as eight or nine to stop the run.

Patrick Buganski - All good news with the health of the Buena Chiefs, Donetae McKinnon is ready to go. There is a marked increase in the number of players dressed for this game though, so coach Paul Callahan will likely be looking to spell some of his starters a little more, especially with Buena coming off a short week, playing on Monday against Penns Grove.
