Michael Schwartz (Valley of the Suns/TrueHoop Network) -  Hey everyone, Michael checking in live from US Airways Center awaiting the start of Suns-Pistons.

Michael Schwartz (Valley of the Suns/TrueHoop Network) -  The Pistons have scored 100 points just twice all season, whereas the Suns have hit the century mark every game and in 30 consecutive at home dating back to last year.

Michael Schwartz (Valley of the Suns/TrueHoop Network) -  Also, Channing Frye's home/road splits are something to take stock in entering this one.    He’s shooting 65.6 percent (21-for-32) from behind the line at home but just 29.4 percent (15-for-51) away from home.  Yes, Frye has made six more threes in 19 fewer attempts in the Valley while playing five fewer home games. He's nailed six triples in three of the four home games.

Expecting a blowout, Schwartz? I mean, the Pistons went OT just last night...
8:06
Michael Schwartz (Valley of the Suns/TrueHoop Network) -  C33, that question was essentially posed to Alvin Gentry. He said not to look into that. On the flip side, this is the Pistons' last chance to salvage a win on a road trip as opposed to going home with a big goose egg in four games. But if you're asking me, no, I wouldn't be surprised by a blowout .....

Is Amare ever going to get back to the player he was averaging 37pts/game against Tim Duncan in the 05 Western Conference Finals?
8:06
Michael Schwartz (Valley of the Suns/TrueHoop Network) -  Sads, I think he will keep getting better throughout the course of the year after having to take off so much time with the eye injury, but it would be hard to expect anybody to put up the kind of production Amare did during that special series.

[Comment From Zach]
What's so different about the Suns last year and the Suns this year besides the addition of Channing Frye? I know he's doing well but he surely can't be the only reason why the Suns are so good this year comparing to the last.
