Matthew -  G'day.

I think Parks and Rec has become the funniest show on NBC thursday nights. The supporting cast is great. Community should take note, because while Joel McCale can be funnt, his supporting cast is terrible!!!!!
12:01
Matthew -  I agree on Parks and Rec. Really enjoying watching Amy P find her character this season.
12:01
Joanna -  I disagree on the "Community" cast, though.
12:01
Matthew -  And the supporting cast is indeed excellent. But Community isn't so bad.
12:02
Matthew -  Like she said.
12:02
Joanna -  Cherry coke today, please.
12:02
Matthew -  Abed is funny.

Fire Chevy Chase and I'd consider it a start
12:02
Joanna -  And Troy, the football player.
12:02
Matthew -  I agree. He's not funny in the least.
12:02
Joanna -  And I love watching Allison Brie and trying to imagine what Trudy Campbell would say in that situation.
12:03
Joanna -  And I have a soft spot for Ken Jeong, the Spanish teacher, whom I used to know when he was a medical resident in New Orleans.
12:03
Joanna -  My brush with fame!
12:03
Matthew -  Wow. Impressive.
12:03
[Comment From Matt]
I thought the pilot to COmmunity was unwatchable. Is there some truth to that?
12:03
Joanna -  No, not true! But I actually think the show has improved since then.

[Comment From Steve]
Here's a shocker, Mad Men brought in another new character to create drama (Roger's ex-lover)! Tell me: Couldn't it have been accomplished by having Joan be the old flame and then Roger reject her advances? But then try and get her a job? Am I wrong? There's animosity between core characters, but never any real action...
12:04
Matthew -  I think they wanted to give Roger a special episode, allude to a history to deepen his character.
12:04
Matthew -  Also to show us that he has grown   up some.
