Josh Slagter - It should be a great game tonight and an unbelievable atmosphere inside of Ford Field. There were 72,456 in there on Saturday and, if it's possible, there should be more tonight.

Izzo indicated that UNC is the best team in the country, do you agree?

Josh Slagter - I do agree. When UNC is playing well -- which has been a lot lately -- they're extremely tough to beat. They had a couple lapses during the season, but so did everybody.

Driving up from Ohio, what is the weather like in Detroit?

Josh Slagter - Pretty snowy here, actually. A good storm came through here last night. It almost feels like December again, which wouldn't be good for MSU fans.

Josh, everyone seems make the distinction between the elite programs (UNC, Kansas, etc) and MSU. Does tonight's final bring MSU that much closer to an elite program or are they already there?

Josh Slagter - What keeps MSU from joining that group is just it's past. Those elite programs have a long history of winning, as Izzo pointed out yesterday.

But MSU is an elite program over the past decade.

So, how does MSU win tonight?

Josh Slagter - By staying hot from the perimeter and picking its spots to run in transition. They can't get in a total track meet with UNC, but they've got to take advantage of the Tar Heels' defense whenever possible.

And, just feed off that crowd. It's going to be rockin'.
