Welcome to “An Evening of Planet Hulk” - New York, co-sponsored by your online hosts for this evening, Newsarama.com and New York Comic Con.

For we get started we also have to thank Lionsgate Home Entertainment, and Marvel Animation, whose release of Planet Hulk on Blu-ray and DVD Feb. 2 is a big part of what this evening is about, as well as the Paley Center for Media, the host of tonight’s event.

The exclusive first screening of Planet Hulk is just wrapping up, and in a moment we’ll be debuting the first exclusive online clip from the animated feature. Then we’ll have a full live report over the next hour from the interactive panel that follows.

The panel, moderated by WWE wrester/commentator and comic book fan Matt Striker, will focus on the original Marvel Comics’ storyline “Planet Hulk” and its transition to an animated feature, as well as the current Hulk comics storyline “Fall of the Hulks” and this summer’s event “World War Hulks”.

The guests are Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada, original “Planet Hulk” writer and current “Incredible Hulk” fan-favorite comic book writer Greg Pak, and the President of Marvel Animation Eric Rollman.

We’re going to accept questions from our online audience, and we hope to have a few answered during the course of the evening. So please type in your questions for Quesada, Pak and Rollman about Planet Hulk or the Hulk comic book titles and maybe yours will be answered.
