Is Stromile Swift going to get a legitimate chance to get major minutes?

Kate -  Swift hasn't even practice since Tuesday morning. So ... my guess is no.

Hey Kate, Why are the Sixers force feeding the idea that Elton Brand is such a great leader/player to the general public? Don't you think it would be smarter for them to to let his play speak for itself? The guy literally hasn't done anything, so why should the fanbase care two years removed from his signing? Also, any chance Dionte Christmas hangs on with the club? Thanks,

Kate -  (Eric, you seem like a big Stromile Swift fan). I think the Sixers are trying to keep some of the hype alive from last summer's big signing. Clearly the signing got lost w/ his injury and interest dropped off. I do agree that at this point they should let him play and see where his game is now. Jordan has said that Christmas has a chance, but after watching camp for a week I think those chances are remote. The Sixers are overloaded at that position and might be better served to keep a guy like Singletary for help at the point or a big guy down low.

I have a feeling Carney will play more than Kopono. Can you see that?
