Astros-Pirates series finale

11:04
Brian McTaggart -  Hello from Pittsburgh, where the Astros will try to win their first series of the year. We'll start the chat in 30 minutes.
11:30
Brian McTaggart -

Alright, let's get this started. Here is the Astros' lineup for today's game. It's the same lineup they used Wednesday:
CF Michael Bourn
SS Miguel Tejada
1B Lance Berkman
LF Carlos Lee
RF Hunter Pence
3B Geoff Blum
C Ivan Rodriguez
2B Jeff Keppinger
P Russ Ortiz

11:31
Brian McTaggart -  Russ Ortiz is making his first start since Aug. 20, 2007, when he pitched for the Giants. He missed all of last season while recovering from elbow surgery. He's 8-1 in his career against the Pirates, or as I like to call them: Buccos.

how's the weather?
11:37
Brian McTaggart -  Terrific. 55 degrees and sunny at game time. Considering the bad weather we've had during this entire trip to St. Louis and Pittsburgh, it's nice.

any laughing pirates yet?
11:38
Brian McTaggart -  Not yet, but I highly anticipate the laughing Pirate on the video board. Perhaps we'll have some Pirates jokes later.

Whats your prediction for today?
11:38
Brian McTaggart -  Astros 6-3. I think Russ Ortiz will have a nice game. I've been impressed with him.

[Comment From Bryant]
If we could get a W out of Hampy and Ortiz, I'll take our chances with finding a replacement for Moehler.
11:39
Brian McTaggart -  Hampton was pretty good Wednesday, and yes, a good outing from Ortiz would be a boost for the Astros.

any idea who is starting on sunday in moe's place?
11:40
Brian McTaggart -  No word yet. Jeff Fulchino and Alberto Arias are  the options. I am thinking Felipe Paulino could be an option, too. He's off to a nice start, but I don't anticipate them making another roster move.

[Comment From Brian Moehler]
Don't give up on me yet. Once my knee is fine, I will be the 2008 BM again!
11:40
Brian McTaggart -  We all believe in you, Brian.
11:42
Brian McTaggart -  This is the first time the Astros have ever faced Pirates starter Jeff Karstens, who came over from the Yankees last year in the Xavier Nady deal. And Karstens sends the Astros down 1-2-3 in the first inning.
