OK, the chat is now live and I'll be peeking in every five minutes or so as I work on a few Hoosick Falls stories, so please be patient if your comments aren't published immediately. I will check back.

7:10	Coaches submit those All-Star teams at their leisure. Some (the Class B All-Stars) were released before the Super Bowl and some we won't have for awhile. Class A may be waiting for Burnt Hills to finish before they have their year-end coaches meeting.

I haven't had a chance to see the Mechanicville girls this year - the folks at the Saratogian have been helping us with the Red Raiders - but I know a lot of the girls also play on the state championship-winning softball team and that has to mean something for them. They have some playoff experience and have already won some games in overtime, so I don't think any of the pressure would bother them.

7:18	I don't know anything about Livonia except that they have five losses...

7:20	They had to beat some good teams from Section II - Tamarac, Schuylerville and Stillwater - just to escape the Class B bracket, so their record includes some good wins along the way.
