Of course, you still wish Terrelle Pryor would have picked the Blue and White, right?
OK folks, how about some questions?

Joe has gone kicking and screaming into: 3 wide sets then 4 and 5 wides Reduced role for the full back Not throwing over the middle Shotgun Now with the performance of the special teams. Isn’t it time for a full time special teams coach??. My guess is that after another disaster that loses another big game PSU may get a special teams coach. Your thoughts? PS Kudos for picking PSU over Michigan-all the Patriot experts picked Michigan

Don't look for a special teams coach as long as Joe is there.

I just wonder why Penn State is about the only team around now that doesn't use that protection wall in front of their punter. Where did that suddenly come from?

And I think I might be picking Penn State this weekend, too.
I'm not sure yet ...
Just thinking ...
Why should I pick the Lions?

I know the odd sare agains the special team coach--your point is a good one and it makes my point

Actually, Penn State's special teams seemed to take a fairly dramatic upturn the past couple of years or so. Kind of surprised with the problems with the coverage.

Maybe I should use my Tuesday press conference question to ask him about ridiculous punt return efforts so far.

Hard to predict this one. The 2007 team with Lee and Connor was physically blown out and over matched at home. Defense playing well, but running game improve but still not there. I guess if Clark get protection and plays well PSU can win it

The key, to me, is limiting turnovers special team disasters.

Also, watch for more Brandon Beachum. Is a bit bigger, tougher, change-of-pace runner to spell Royster. Like him a lot.

I was dismissed out of hand on a chat with another paper when I said Jay is being groomed to be the sucessor and Joe is staying in part to make that happen, I see Jay now with a bigger media role getting quoted which assistant coaches never have done. YOur thoughts on this?
8:19

Well, let's just say that I don't think Jay is in line to be the next head coach. Don't think you could push him through, without even coordinator experience, over someone like Ron Vanderlinden or Scrap and maybe even Larry Johnson.

Jay likes to talk and doesn't mind meeting with us. Some of the other assistants (Galen, Anderson, etc.) I think would just rather take a pass.
