Hey, everybody. Happy...Wednesday?

Is there any new talk about Bradford?
10:59
David Ubben -  Bob Stoops declined comment on Sam on Tuesday, but he's still taking part in intensive rehab about 2.5-3 hours a day and progressing.
10:59
Mike Sherman -  Stoops on how Bradford is healing: "I'm not even going to go there because it brings on everybody's speculation. It's just not worth doing, at least for me anyway."

worse case, how long could he be out?
11:01
David Ubben -  Honestly, it could be the season, if you want to talk about worst case. Sam talked about this last week, but the recovery time on this injury is all over the place. Most notably, Eli Manning in 10 days, but Alex Smith of the 49ers had the same injury, and didn't require surgery initially.   He never returned that season, and after it was over, ending up having the surgery.

Mike Sherman -  David: I'm seeing comments on stories where some readers think the Landry Jones mustache stories as a sign we don't have enough to write about. What's the reaction you're getting to this story and what do you think about it?
11:04
David Ubben -  Well, it's definitely a lighter story, a fun story that has its place. Personally, I loved it, because 1) it's funny and 2) it's an interesting look into how he's taken all that's happened to him in stride.

Didn't you think Landry Jones looked very good last week. It was a downpour pretty much most of the game and he threw tight spirals for the most past right on target, with the exception of a couple. I realize it was like a high school team, but it was still impressive.
11:06
David Ubben -  Absolutely.   I don't care who you're playing against, he was still throwing the ball downfield, and doing it well.   The first touchdown to Broyles was an absolutely perfect throw, one not a lot of guys can make. The long pass down the right side of the field was slightly underthrown, but far from a BAD throw.

Did Jones have that mustache during last weeks game?

SHAVE IT, SHAVE IT
11:07
David Ubben -  The third one was put in a perfect spot in the back of the end zone, and luckily he has a receiver like Broyles who can make the play.
11:07
Mike Sherman -  Maybe it was like evaluating a quarterback's performance in a 7-on-7 drill. That's about how much weight I'd give it, but for that it was still strong. He's got a good arm and ran the offense well. But to paraphrase what Barry Switzer said to Charles Thompson, let's see what Landry can do with the (Tulsa/Miami or maybe even Texas) band playing
11:08
David Ubben -  He did.   He's got a little fuzz around it, but the mustache is still the most prominent part of his face.   When he puts on the helmet and chinstrap, it only accentuates it.
11:08
Mike Sherman -  Oklahoma is becoming ground zero for college football upsets. First BYU, then Houston. Now comes Tulsa. What's the threat level for the Sooners Saturday?

I think that in Norman it is very difficult for any team to beat OU.
